Ingredients
cumin seeds &#8211; 100gms
black cardamom &#8211; 10 gms
small cardamom &#8211; 5 gms
Star anise &#8211; 1 gms
black peppercorns &#8211; 25 gms
dried red chillies &#8211; 5 gms
dried ginger/soonthi powder &#8211; large pinch
grated nutmeg &#8211; 1/4 no
cloves &#8211; 5 gms
cinnamon &#8211; 5gms
amchur powder &#8211; 5gms (optional)
Method

Roast each ingredient seperately till dark brown.

2 tsp Oil
1¼ tsp Salt (or to taste)
½ tsp Asafoetida powder
10 nos Curry leaves (fresh)
½ cup Coconut (grated) (dry dessicated preferred)
6 clove Garlic
10 nos Dry red chili
½ cup urad dal
¼ cup chana dal
Method 

Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai and roast the dry red chilies, garlic and curry leaves, remove.
